The Site24x7 servers send out HTTP or HTTPS requests to your website at regular intervals of time and alerts you if it is down. The service also offers web application monitors (to monitor online stores and e-commerce portals), web page content check, web page defacement check, website performance tracking, ability to integrate uptime/downtime stats on your website, instant email/SMS/RSS alerts, daily/weekly downtime reports through email, and feature-rich reports.
