As one of Arrows three main sales regions in Europe, Arrow Central Europe is represented by offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and The Netherlands. Arrow Central Europe approached the market with the trading brands Spoerle and Sasco until September 2009. From October 2009 on the distributor uses the Arrow brand in Central Europe.
Arrow Central Europe serves more than 35,000 active customers, including large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturer Services) suppliers, in addition to engineering companies and developers. Arrow serves clients who require small and medium-sized production quantities via a dedicated sales channel, which focuses on rapid consultations by telephone, Arrow Advantage.
As a broadliner, Arrow has a wide-reaching product portfolio in the areas of analogue and digital semiconductors, passive and electro-mechanical components and Advanced Embedded Solutions. In the field of Advanced Embedded Solutions, Arrow offers displays, power supplies, wireless technologies and technical silicones. Concerning complex semiconductor applications, Arrow is able to tend to clients needs with the technical expertise of a special distributor. Overall, Arrow is capable of covering more than 90 percent of a circuit board with components, whilst offering comprehensive solutions for target applications.
Arrow Central Europe has more than 150 companies on its line card. Global market leaders stand alongside highly-specialised niche players. The products and solutions offered span all areas and industrial segments, including telecommunications, entertainment electronics, industrial electronics, medical technology, IT and transport and logistics. Particular emphasis is given to the growth sectors lighting, automotive and embedded. Concerning these fields, Arrow boasts teams with a wide range of expertise. As a result of this, Arrow is able to offer its clients complete system solutions in a specific area, for example lighting. Supplier products serve to enhance the portfolio, and with a view to the overall client application, can be combined to offer optimal system solutions based on the specific requirements at hand. Occasionally, the company also collaborates with external design partners. Arrow is committed to the constant expansion of its existing product portfolio to include suitable products.
For developers of complex semiconductor applications, Arrow has created the development programs Embedded Platform Concept (EPC) and Testdrive. The EPC is a modular system application with various boards and engineering services. Testdrive offers developers the opportunity to borrow a range of evaluation boards for a specific period and test them in accordance with their requirements. Numerous renowned suppliers participate in this initiative.
